Giving Back

We believe in helping others; we believe in giving back. It’s part of our business plan…it’s who we are.

During 2015, we donated $9,829 (cash and in-kind)  to local nonprofit groups. We don’t just talk about community–we demonstrate our values every day. Scroll  to the bottom of the page to see the organizations we supported.

Village Canvas and Cabernet supports local nonprofit organizations in four ways:

Meeting Space

If you are looking for a place to hold your next meeting–look no more!  We invite 501(c)3 organizations to hold meetings (up to 3 hours in duration) in our gallery for free, availability permitting.  We have 6′ and 8′ tables available and 30 chairs. Coffee, hot tea, soda and ice tea; wine and beer always available for a nominal fee.  To check availability call 402-991-4278.

We support TAGG–Together A Greater Good. TAGG your registration fee in our gallery, and support the nonprofit agency you wish. Simply download the app on your phone!

Village Canvas and Cabernet supports local 501(c)3 organizations by hosting  fundraising events.  This is the way it works:  the nonprofit organization secures the date, and guarantees a minimum of 20 paid painters (for Friday/Saturday night) or 15 painters (Sunday-Thursday nights).  The agency may bring in or cater food, hold a silent and/or oral auction. The agency is the featured nonprofit, and Village Canvas and Cabernet invites the organization to put up a display in the shop for one week, with the opportunity to raise awareness and promote donations.

There are a couple of different pricing options–please call for information. We are here to help you maximize your fundraising efforts, and have experience with planning and coordinating fundraising events of all sizes. Feel free to call Village Canvas and Cabernet to check availability, reserve your event and talk about ideas for raising money.

Special Staff Pricing

Village Canvas and Cabernet now offers special pricing for nonprofit staff to enjoy a paint session. For 10 to 20 painters, the fee is $30/per person which includes a complimentary drink.  For 21 or more painters, the fee is only $25/per painter (also includes a complimentary drink).
